Merrick Garland to be held ‘accountable’ if DOJ delays, interferes in release of J6 report on FBI involvement: House GOP

GOP House members have warned that the Biden-Harris Department of Justice and US Attorney General will be held accountable if the agency delays the release of the DOJ Inspector General's January 6 report that covers the response of the DOJ and its agencies, including the FBI. 

The letter from Thomas Massie, signed by House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan and other GOP members stated, "During your testimony before our Committee on June 4, 2024, Chairman Massie asked you a series of questions about Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s forthcoming report on the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) and its components’ actions before, during, and in response to the events that occurred at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021."
