Mary Sturgeon: A Remembrance & Honor Grant Recipient

This is an open letter from Mary Sturgeon, who is a mother of a Jan 6 political prisoner.

Thanks to Stand in the Gap Foundation and their "Remembrance & Honor Advocacy Grant," she was able to find much needed relief in the 4ashli house. This is her story.

To Whom it May Concern:

As the mother of a January 6 prisoner, I was privileged to stay at the 4ashli House in DC on July 27 - 31, 2024.   I stayed there with Micki Whitthoeft, mother of unarmed Ashli Babbitt, who was shot to death in the Capitol on Jan 6, and also with Nicole Refitt, whose husband, Guy, they claimed had a gun on Jan 6.  He did not have one, and they never proved it, but they sentenced him to 7 years anyway.    These two ladies generously opened this home to me and made sure I was comfortable and well fed with their home cooked meals.   It was an honor to be with them and to spend some time with them.

Within hours of being in the 4ashli House, I began to realize how much these two ladies are fighting for all of us.   They regularly attend trials of January 6 defendants to encourage them and show support.  I was able to attend a trial with them one morning.  It did bring back some strong emotions, but I was so glad to be a comfort to other frightened J6 family members.

As many people are aware, Micki and Nicole also hold the vigil at the DC Federal Prison for the prisoners every night of the week.   That is where they sing with the DC prisoners, and they read aloud the names of each J6 prisoner in the country, my son, Isaac, included.   I was able to attend the Vigil on multiple evenings.  It was very moving.   After we sang with the prisoners each evening, we watched for them to flicker their lights off and on in the prison building.

There are many other ways in which they advocate for all of us.  They made it possible for me to be in DC for some very important appointments.   I, and others, appreciate having a place to lodge at no cost when we must be in the area.   This helps greatly to lift our burdens.

The 4ashli House is a beloved haven.

I urge you to support them in every way possible.    By supporting them, you will be supporting many persecuted Patriots across our great Country.

With Gratitude,
Mary Sturgeon

We want to thank Mary for having the courage to share her story. If you can, please donate to Stand in the Gap Foundation to help those who need assistance thanks to the Biden Regime like Mary.
