Election Integrity Measures Enjoy Broad Support

A majority of voters support measures to ensure that elections are honest and that results are reported quickly.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 63% of Likely U.S. Voters want federal law to require that all votes be counted and the final results be reported within 12 hours of polls closing on Election Day. Only 23% disagree, while another 14% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 800 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on November 12-14, 2024 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
