DOJ memo says Jeffrey Epstein had no client list, died by suicide, did not blackmail people

Wealth entrepreneur and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had no client list, died by suicide and did not blackmail prominent individuals, according to a joint Justice Department-FBI memo obtained by the news outlet Axios.

Axios on Sunday published the undated and unsigned memo, which includes links to the DOJ website of two nearly 11-hour videos of the area of Epstein's prison cell on the night he died in 2019. One video is the raw version, while for the other video, "the FBI enhanced the relevant footage by increasing its contrast, balancing the color, and improving its sharpness for greater clarity and viewability," the memo reads.

According to the memo, "This systematic review revealed no incriminating 'client list.' There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions. We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties."
