Brandy Burlew: A Remembrance & Honor Grant Recipient

This is an open letter from Brandy Burlew, who is a wife of a Jan 6 political prisoner.

Thanks to Stand in the Gap Foundation and their "Remembrance & Honor Advocacy Grant," she was able to find much needed relief in the 4ashli house. This is her story.

I have had the fortune to stay at the Eagle's Nest on two separate occasions. Once I stayed with my 3 children and a friend of mine that traveled with me to go to court for my husband's hearing, and then another time for another hearing by myself.  Each time, the hospitality was amazing. The accommodations were great. Nicole even went as far as to be my chauffeur to and fro a few places. She is a phenomenal cook as well! And honestly, it feels like a home away from home...to include Ollie and the kitty boys lol. 

I am so very thankful that we were welcomed with such wide-open arms.  It made the stress of traveling and the situation that we are dealing with a lot better just knowing that we had a safe place to stay with friendly/familiar faces. It also lessened the financial burden that all J6 families are facing.  It is so sad what has brought us all together, but at the same time I am thankful because otherwise I wouldn't have come to know these wonderful people. 

Through our struggle comes our testimony and to say that these ladies are warriors is an understatement.  And I appreciate their willingness to give of themselves with their time to make others feel comfortable when they are in the middle of this too. 

Please help them continue the mission by donating to help them keep doing what they are doing and helping so many people find comfort in such a dark time, and such a dark place. 

I am truly thankful for the Eagles Nest, Nicole and Micki (even though I haven't actually met her in person yet).  

In honor of Ashli Babbitt, in honor of those being persecuted right now, help these wonderful ladies keep this house going.
